The Lake Placid women had a great showing, going 2 – 2, losing a one goal game, and a 3 goal game to a top seeded Graph Tex team. Jennica Johansen was the “senior” member having now been with the team for 11 years! All are looking forward to 2018!
The two Lake Placid men’s teams went 1 – 3 and 2 – 2, taking 11th & 12th places. The new rule at Lake Placid for the Men’s Open is that the 15th & 16th place teams do not get invited back, so the Catamount teams are good to go for 2018! Chris Dyer, captain for the Catamount Puma team has been playing in Lake Placid with Catamount since 1999 – 18 years!!
