Grace Johnson, a Catamount and Castleton State University Alumna will be returning to coach the new Middle School program based in Essex, VT this Summer. Grace graduated from South Burlington HS in 2013 after serving as team captain. In her Freshman year at Castleton State, she started every game and scored the game winning goal in the NAC Championship to secure Castleton’s ticket to the NCAA tournament. In her time at Castleton, Grace earned many accolades including first and second team all NAC (2017, 2016), Rookie of the week, and All-Tournament team. (2014) She currently is second in the Castleton Record Books all time for assists. Grace brings a depth of understanding of both club and college lacrosse having played with IAS/Catamount since 2009. She still continues to play with the Catamount Womens’ team at the Lake Placid Summit Classic. We are thrilled to have Grace on board as a coach to join Skip Harris and Matt Kuhlmeier with the Girls Middle School team!
